Trade winds will strengthen later tonight as the subtropical ridge builds north of the state. Shower activity will trend lower from Tuesday to Wednesday, then increase yet again from Thursday into Saturday as another weak disturbance moves through the island chain.
Dangerous life-threatening surf is hitting the North shores of most islands with 12-16 foot surf, peaking tonight with wave heights 14-18 feet. This is for the experienced only, check with lifeguards first and stay HIGH up on the dry sand.
